The quarterly security appliance market in 2013 in the EMEA region posted a 0.4% q/q decline, according to a consultancy International Data Corporation (IDC).

Europe's servers move to high end densities

EMEA server revenues reached $12.4 billion for the full calendar year 2013, which shows a moderate annual decline of 5.3%. The decline in unit terms was less significant at 2.7%, with over 2.2 million server units shipped in 2013.

Kelway wins 5 year Atos UK deal

Frnech integrator Atos has signed a five year infrastructure services programme with the UK's Kelway; it is estimated to be worth £150m over the five years and will deliver desktop infrastructure and datacentre hardware services in the UK and Ireland.
