Cybersecurity specialist Webroot has thanked its channel for significant bookings growth in the fourth fiscal quarter, following expansion of the company’s network of managed service providers (MSPs) and other channel partners.
Webroot achieved driven by strong license sales in Consumer: up 14% YoY; Business: up 71% YoY; and OEM: up 92% YoY. For the fiscal year, Webroot added 5.3 million new home users, over 1 million new business endpoints and over 3,100 new MSP partners. The company also welcomed a number of new and important strategic technology partners.

We launched a number of industry-leading new products and technical innovations, and consumers and businesses alike have been quick to adopt our next-generation endpoint security products. Our BrightCloud Threat Intelligence Platform has been recognized for its behavioural analysis, massive scale and accuracy in detecting the latest URL, IP, file, and application threats,” said Dick Williams, Webroot CEO.
Webroot sharpened its focus on global channel development in FY2015 by signing 3,100 new MSPs, and a number of Elite value-added resellers (VARs) and distributors in each region. Channel announcements included the new Webroot Channel Edge Partner Program during the fiscal year. This improved structure enables Webroot to provide market-specific tools and resources to help its growing global network of MSPs, VARs, distributors, service providers, and systems integrators to increase their close rates and to grow their businesses, it says
