Experienced in distribution of security
Distributor Tech Data has named David Ellis as its new director of security solutions, Europe. In this new role, he will look after the expansion of Tech Data’s portfolio of security offerings, as well as the in-country dedicated security team investments across Europe. Previously at Exclusive Group, Arrow ECS, Computer Links, and Unipalm, he will report to Simon England, senior vice president, Next-Generation Technologies, Europe.
“Security is a key focus for Tech Data as part of our strategy for next-generation technologies,” said Simon England. “As we aim to significantly grow and innovate in today’s fragmented and highly complex security market, David’s wealth of experience will help us carry this plan forward.”
