EET Europarts has announced its eight acquisition this year, buying Agix Distribution, a French surveillance and security distributor, to help boost its presence in southern France.
The company, which was established in 1983, specialises in providing IP-surveillance solutions for professional integrators, with a product offering ranging from network cameras, NVRs, software, servers as well as technical training and product support.
According to the company, Agix has an established customer base and the merger of the two companies will strengthen its position in surveillance and security market segment in France.
“Agix Distribution has a strong position in the French market, distributing quality products to the professional surveillance customers, so it is a perfect match for EET Europarts. Additionally, the acquisition will further enhance EET Europarts’ longstanding cooperation with Axis Communications, the market leader in network video. We are looking forward to be adding more business and new competences to our surveillance & security division, and at the same time bring even more highly skilled employees from Agix Distribution into our French organisation,” says CEO at EET Group, John Thomas.
