Wire targets enterprise security business with Arrow

Wire is using Arrow Electronics to offer its secure collaboration platform to the channel in the UK and Ireland. Wire uses end-to-end encryption to ensure complete security and privacy for enterprise communications.

Headquartered in Switzerland, with offices in Berlin and San Francisco, Wire launched its collaboration platform in early 2018 and says it now claims over 600 customers, including EY, Softbank Robotics and Teamviewer.

The vendor also offers public independent security audits of its open source systems against existing security and governance frameworks.

Wire CEO Morten Brøgger said: “With Arrow we look forward to expanding our customer base. This agreement demonstrates the market movement towards secure collaboration within the enterprise, and we are confident that together with Arrow’s network we can offer secure collaboration solutions to businesses across the UK and Ireland.”

Wire supports secure messaging, voice, video, file sharing and search, all protected by end-to-end encryption.

At the end of last year, Arrow Electronics sealed an EMEA distribution deal with intelligent data protection platform provider ProphetStor Data Services. ProphetStor, headquartered in Milpitas, California, provides enterprises and cloud service providers with artificial intelligence-enabled data protection services.
