Voting starts for top European IT suppliers

Voting has started among European IT channels for the favourite suppliers and distributors. IT Europa is welcoming views on who should be recognised as the European IT Suppliers of the year and a range of categories. As expected, the link (below) is being promoted by vendors and distributors to their channels through their regular communications.

“The voting is part of the process which helps us pick up those vendors and suppliers who have made a difference to the channel in the last year or so. We don’t look for long statements, but a sentence or two on how partners business has been boosted gives us a real insight into what partners find useful and enable us to tailor our own content and messages,” says John Garratt, Editor of IT Europa and chair of the judges’ panel.

With ten categories ranging from distribution (two classes based on global size) to cloud and technologies vendor, as well as security and best channel programme, there are plenty of awards to go for, and all count. In a new category for 2019, Most Effective Channel Marketing Activity, the Award aims to highlight who is doing what to reach their partners in the most effective way. The whole purpose of the awards, which also include sections for solutions vendors and application developers, is to reveal best practices in a number of areas, including technology and sales, and so show potential customers just how effective the IT industry and its channels can be in increasing efficiency and effectiveness.

It takes only a few seconds to submit a nomination and entries are open now. In return for views those taking part will be entered into a prize draw to win a £200 Amazon Gift Voucher.
