Nuvias pulls on BlueJeans network for complete UC kit

Adds to existing video-conferencing systems, cloud services

Nuvias has signed a pan-EMEA distribution agreement with BlueJeans Network, the cloud service that connect desktops, mobile devices and room systems in one video meeting.

BlueJeans brings video, audio and web conferencing together with collaboration tools. Nuvias will be bundling the BlueJeans’ platform with videoconferencing devices from Polycom to provide “ready-to-go” solutions which scale from SMEs up to large enterprises.

The BlueJeans’ platform supports virtually any device offering the flexibility to deploy within existing video real-estates, regardless of the end point chosen. Nuvias offers channel support through its UC Practice, which provides complete end-to-end and best-of-breed products and services.

Steve Harris, EVP unified communications for Nuvias, said: “There are excellent opportunities for channel partners in the rapidly growing voice and video conferencing market across EMEA, and BlueJeans is a great solution to take advantage of these opportunities.

“It is eminently scalable, particularly at large enterprise level, very easy to use and interoperates with virtually any device from anywhere. Our bundles and partnership with Polycom represent an attractive proposition for many businesses.”

Nigel Tyler, director of channel EMEA, BlueJeans Network, said: “Working together with Nuvias is an important part of the BlueJeans go-to-market strategy to bring our meetings platform to customers across EMEA.

“We are at the forefront of an exciting time as businesses equip their employees, partners and customers with the tools to be productive. With a solution from BlueJeans and Nuvias it will feel as though your team is sitting next to you in the same room.”

In addition to the Polycom deal Nuvias signed at the back end of last year, Nuvias has also recently signed distribution deals with VASCO Data Security, Juniper Networks and software development and DevOps platform GitHub.
