France's Apside acquires two firms to grow digital services

French consulting firm and VAR Apside has acquired two local IT services firms – Elanz and Keley - to aid its expansion strategy.

Elanz employs 120 and is a Microsoft Silver Partner that specialises in data analytics and application development. It has an annual turnover of €15m and is based in Clermont-Ferrand in central France.

And €10m-turnover Keley offers consulting services in data strategy and engineering. It employs 100 consultants in France and elsewhere.

Last year, Apside generated annual sales of €198m. Pierre Gauthier, Apside CEO, said the company wanted to create a “leader in all digital services”. Apside has a headcount of 2,500 and operates in various European territories.

Gauthier said: "Keley's expertise will enable the Apside group to offer high-level consulting services in strategy, data and engineering, thanks to cutting-edge digital skills and a strong culture of innovation.

"And Elanz will bring specialisation in Microsoft technologies, as well as strengthening our territorial coverage."

The value of the acquisitions has not been disclosed, but they were financed by French private equity firm Siparex, along with Crédit Agricole.​Apside was founded in 1976 and has consulting agencies in Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland and Morocco.
