Kenna Security seeks EMEA-wide channel with appointment

Risk monitoring business looks for resellers, MSPs

US-headquartered Kenna Security is seeking to build a channel across EMEA with the appointment of a new sales and partner head for the region. The company's vulnerability and risk intelligence platform enables organisations to measure and monitor their exposure to risk.

Kenna has hired Trevor Crompton to lead its sales and and expand its partner relationships, including those with resellers, VARs and MSSPs, across the EMEA region. He’ll also be responsible for recruiting and growing Kenna’s staff and presence in the area.

Most recently, Crompton was the EMEA channel director for RiskIQ in London. Prior to that Crompton was the EMEA sales director at Symantec, responsible for building a $42m services business “from the ground up”, said Kenna. “Outside the US market we’ve seen tremendous growth in demand for risk-based information security solutions that can manage the deluge of vulnerability alerts and challenges facing organisations today,” said Karim Toubba, CEO at Kenna Security. “Kenna has developed strategic relationships with some of the top channel partners in the region to bring its innovative platform to EMEA-based organisations, and Trevor’s extensive experience will help us expand those relationships to reach more organisations.”

At the end of last year, Kenna received $15m in Series B funding from venture capitalists.
