Trustifi appoints global channels head as it searches for more partners

SaaS-based email security vendor Trustifi is looking for more partners after launching its first channel partner programme, and appointing a new global channel development manager to help lead it.

The channel programme offers training and marketing development funds to support Trustifi's MSPs and solution providers in the channel. The company's products and services are only sold through partners.

As part of the initiative, Trustifi has appointed cyber security sales veteran Jamie Lembeck as global channel development manager. Lembeck has previously driven high-profile sales management projects with prominent channel companies such as Kaseya and ID Agent.

Lembeck will work with Trustifi’s vice president of channels Zack Schwartz to grow the company’s partner community, with the aim of increasing market share for the firm's solutions through 2021.

Both Rain Networks and Ingram Micro are existing distributors for the Las Vegas-headquartered company's technology.

Trustifi’s relay-based solutions utilise a proprietary cloud storage system that enables an extensive range of control over sent email. The solutions encrypt emails in the cloud before those messages pass through the recipient’s gateway.

This allows users to retract, change or block sent content; swap-out attachments; set expiration rules; or alter the recipient list within messages they’ve sent. The technology offers protection for incoming emails too.

Rom Hendler, Trustifi co-founder and CEO, said: “We can empower organisations to create far more secure email data environments through a one-click process that is easy enough to use on a daily basis.

“Our channel programme provides the resources and the educational opportunities to ensure that partners can succeed in this effort, speeding adoption of encryption as threat escalation continues.”
