Maintel appoints new CFO

Cloud and managed services firm Maintel has appointed Gabriel Pirona to its board as its chief financial officer (CFO), effective from 3 May. 

Pirona (pictured), who received his training at PwC, has over 25 years of financial experience in both industry and public practice. He joins the firm from Agilisys, where he was group CFO.

Before Agilisys, he served as group CFO at Selecta, one of Europe’s l food and drink solutions providers and has also served in the same role at Photo-Me International plc, and as Regional CFO at Recall. 

In his new role, he will be responsible for leading Maintel's continuous transformation and growth.

“I am thrilled to be joining Maintel at what is an exciting time for the company,” said Pirona. “I hope to implement my 25 years of experience to deliver the long-term strategy of the business and create new opportunities for the clients and the organisation, while enhancing shareholders’ value.”
