Jobs Board 14 July: Big channel players make key hires

SonicWall has named Rajnish Mishra as senior vice president and chief development officer, who brings cloud security expertise to help accelerate the company's focus on delivering hybrid network solutions designed for managed service providers and managed security service providers.

Mishra has more than two decades of experience leading network and cloud security developments teams, including senior roles at cybersecurity and networking companies Zscaler and Cisco. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of engineering at Zscaler, where he played a key role in scaling the company from an early-stage startup.

-Jitterbit, the IT system optimisation firm, has appointed Eddie James as chief financial officer.

James has previously raised over $4 billion in capital, led approximately 45 M&A transactions, and built finance and operational teams capable of scaling through IPOs, strategic sales, and private equity exits.

“His expertise will be instrumental in optimising financial performance and supporting the company's aggressive growth objectives,” said Jitterbit.

-Mimecast has brought in Micheal McCollough as senior vice president of worldwide partners and alliances – “a pivotal hire as the company continues to expand its global partner ecosystem, with a particular emphasis on MSPs,” says the firm.

McCollough has previously held leadership roles at Anomali, Imperva, Akamai and Dell Managed Services. He brings “deep MSP expertise and a truly global outlook”, said Mimecast, “shaped by years working across APJ, EMEA, and Africa”.

-Security monitoring vendor Axis Communications has announced several new appointments that coincide with the completion of a restructuring, bringing together key regions including the UK & Ireland, the Nordics and Eastern Europe. Joining the newly formed Northern and Eastern Europe region, the new appointments will focus on the UK & Ireland to ensure “exceptional” partner and customer support, Axis said.

Simon Emmons has joined as sales manager for the UK & Ireland, and Justin Hawkesford has been named as manager for sales engineering and training for the region.

In addition, Natalie Bevins is now marketing manager for the UK & Ireland, while Darren Anderson, Daniel John, and Miranda Minns have all taken territory sales manager roles within the business.

-DoiT, a global player in enterprise-grade FinOps and cloud financial management, has promoted Steve Mills as chief operating officer. The move comes just under a year after Mills assumed the role of chief revenue officer. During that time, he is credited with driving alignment across sales, marketing, client services and CSP partners, creating a foundation for “sustainable, long-term success” in both direct and joint sales, said the firm.

-WatchGuard Technologies has appointed Frédéric Saint-Joigny as vice president of EMEA Sales. Reporting to chief revenue officer HoJin Kim, he will lead the company’s regional sales strategy, with a focus on helping partners capture new market opportunities, expanding their cybersecurity offerings, and “driving the next phase of growth across the region”, WatchGuard said.

Saint-Joigny brings more than two decades of experience in enterprise and channel sales across the cybersecurity and networking sectors. Most recently, he led EMEA sales at Skybox Security, where he expanded regional operations and strengthened channel performance. He also spent several years at Aruba Networks, before and after its acquisition by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), where he played a pivotal role in growing the EMEA channel business.

-Bounteous, a global digital transformation consultancy, has named Kelly Jessop as chief solutions officer. Her appointment marks the latest in a series of strategic leadership advancements, aimed at “propelling the company's next phase of scaling global capabilities and driving co-innovation with clients”, the firm said.

In this new role, Jessop will report to CEO Sudarshan Mandayam and will lead the Bounteous core practices: Experience Innovation, Digital Experience Platforms, Cloud, and Data & AI. She brings industry expertise and a track record of delivering complex technology solutions across financial services, consumer goods, logistics, and hospitality.

Jessop joins Bounteous with over 25 years of experience in consulting and enterprise technology. She most recently led IBM's Technology Expert Labs across the Americas, helping organisations adopt AI, automation, and hybrid cloud solutions. Her prior roles include senior leadership positions at UBS and Deloitte.

-Datanoetic, an early-stage startup focused on AI driven data value generation and process automation platforms, has announced the appointment of Itay Haber as chief executive officer and managing director.

Haber, a seasoned commercial and strategy leader with a track record spanning Google Cloud, European AI scale-ups, and enterprise technology services, joins Datanoetic to lead the company's next stage of growth and market visibility.

He brings more than 20 years of experience driving business performance and innovation in cloud and data-driven platforms. He was previously part of Google Cloud's EMEA senior leadership team and the founder of Google UK's largest digital skills training initiative, Digital Garage. Most recently, he has served in executive commercial roles across high-growth European B2B tech companies.

- Following a 50% year-on-year growth in FY24-25, IT services provider Principle Networks is accelerating its business expansion strategy with the appointment of industry leading CTO, Mike Beevor.

With over 20 years’ experience in technical security and global strategic roles across a wide range of technology organisations including startups, critical infrastructure, physical security and smart cities, Mike joins Principle Networks from Zscaler where he helped successfully build the UKI channel, operating as the UKI Partner Chief Technologist.

Mike has joined the Principle Networks leadership team to drive the company’s ambitious growth strategy, with targets to double revenue to £12 million and net operating profit to £1.2m over the next two years. In his new role, Mike will lead the development of Principle Networks’ technology roadmap, with a clear focus on simplifying cybersecurity and accelerating the firm’s upward trajectory.
