Inherent expands France services with buy

Inherent Group, backed by European private equity firm Keensight Capital, has acquired French IT services firm Equadex.

Founded in 2007 in Toulouse, the acquired firm employs 63 staff across three sites. It supports 500 SMEs with services around auditing and consulting, integration, development of business applications, connectivity and deployment.

The acquisition of Equadex is in line with inherent's growth strategy, which positions itself as a local cloud services operator, and strengthens its territorial network.

“Proximity and customer satisfaction are two priorities shared by inherent and Equadex. The merger was therefore natural for the two companies, which aim to eliminate technological complexity by capitalising on people,” said Patrice Bélie, president of the inherent group.

The inherent group's backbone interconnects 12 local data centres and more than a hundred regional points-of-presence (POPs). Located in Pamiers and Labège, Equadex's two data centres will be fully integrated into this territorial network.
