Focus Group has acquired Voice Connect, strengthening its position in healthcare technology, with its new capture a specialist in telecoms, NHS systems integration, and self-serve automation.
The acquisition follows 18 months of "close collaboration", with a "strong partnership" having been built providing the health and care sector through complementary technologies. The merger will combine Focus Group's extensive sales capabilities with Voice Connect's product expertise, particularly in the rapidly evolving field of AI-driven healthcare solutions, said the firms.
Rhys Bailey, CRO at Focus Group, said: "Voice Connect has an outstanding reputation and this is testament to their outstanding team and their proven expertise in the healthcare sector. Together with our recent expansion within the health and care sector under our Think Healthcare division, we’re creating a truly compelling proposition that aligns closely with the next stage of NHS digital transformation, and we plan to drive continued success in this area."
Voice Connect's flagship Patient Partner solution will complement Focus Group's existing cloud telephony and contact centre solutions, which are delivered through its Think Healthcare division. The companies have already been working together to deliver Virtual Care Navigator, an advanced and flexible automated patient service solution sold to primary care providers.
Sarah Sanders, managing director at Voice Connect, added: "Voice Connect has always been about delivering innovative solutions and tangible benefits to customers. Now, together with Focus Group, we will have the strength, depth and shared ambition to enable us all to go further, faster."
Last November, Focus Group acquired Altrincham, Cheshire-based CCaaS specialist Contact Systems, bolstering its CX portfolio. That deal was Focus’ eleventh acquisition of the year.
