Capgemini to appoint two new directors within its board

Capgemini has announced plans to appoint two new independent directors within its board to support its ambition to further the international diversification of its composition, deepen its sector expertise and enrich the diversity of its profiles.

If approved at the upcoming shareholders meeting on May 19, the proposal will see both Maria Ferraro and Olivier Roussat join Capgemini’s board of directors for a period of four years.

During her career, Ferraro has obtained experience in the manufacturing, technology and energy sectors. If she joins, she will bring to the board her inclusion and diversity expertise, as well as her knowledge of European and Asian markets.

Roussat is the CEO of a global construction, energy and transport infrastructures group. He would bring to the board his sector experience, particularly in the telecoms and media sector, as well as his expertise in digital and technology transformation.

Capgemini’s board of directors believe both Ferraro and Roussat to be independent pursuant to the criteria of the AFEP-MEDEF Code, to which the company refers.
