Bondgate IT has acquired fellow northeast England managed service provider MCWare IT Solutions.
Both firms are Cisco, Microsoft and VMware partners, and Bondgate is also a Veeam cloud data management partner.
Bondgate is based in Darlington and MCWare in nearby Stockton, and both have 20 years in the international projects market.
Among other areas, MCWare is a specialist in the global subsea and marine sectors, and Bondgate says it will enhance the services clients in this space get.
“Our valued clients can expect to continue to receive the same high-quality service, and we look forward to working together to deliver the very best IT support and management, cyber security, cloud and communications solutions,” said Garry Brown, managing director of Bondgate IT.
Jamie Scotchbrook, managing director of MCWare IT Solutions, added: “We quickly discovered both companies share the same values and principles, and combining the businesses will benefit our respective teams and clients alike. By joining Bondgate we will be able to expand our service offerings, while bringing our unique specialism in the marine sectors.”
The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, was supported by RMT Accountants & Business Advisors and law firm Tilly, Bailey & Irvine.
