Innovative anti data exfiltration (ADX) technology gains 9 country deal
BlackFog has signed its first UK distribution agreement with Exertis Enterprise, extending the availability of its anti data exfiltration (ADX) technology across Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The company already has distribution arrangements in the United States, South Africa and Asia Pacific, but until now relied on direct partner relationships in Europe.
BlackFog’s platform focuses on preventing data from leaving devices and networks, a tactic used in the majority of cyberattacks. By monitoring behaviour on the device, the technology aims to block exfiltration attempts, disrupt ransomware and extortion operations, and adapt to AI-enabled threats.
Dr Darren Williams, founder and CEO at BlackFog (pictured), said the Exertis partnership was a milestone in the company’s regional expansion. “Our collaboration with Exertis will provide organisations with protection against data exfiltration and AI threats, while giving partners access to trusted local expertise,” he said.
Dominic Ryles, sales and alliance director at Exertis Enterprise, said cybersecurity was increasingly being viewed as a commercial differentiator. “By bringing BlackFog into our portfolio, we are enabling resellers and service providers to deliver solutions that meet fast-evolving threats, while creating opportunities to build profitable services,” he added.
BlackFog confirmed that partners in the UK and Europe can continue to work directly with the vendor if they wish. The firm already counts a number of organisations as partners in the region, though Exertis is the first to formally distribute its technology.
