Bechtle expands AWS collaboration

IT Technology provider Bechtle has extended its strategic collaboration relationship with AWS. Bechtle shares a relationship with AWS, which dates back to 2018, and as part of this extended alliance between both companies, a multi-year agreement covers the entire DACH region and primarily addresses SME’s and public sector customers, Bechtle said.

“We are proud and delighted about the agreement made with AWS, particularly because our mutual customers will benefit greatly from it. We aspire to show our customers a future-proof way into the cloud that is both economically attractive, but that also ensures greater security and flexibility, and unlocks potential. In short, holistic cloud architectures that drive our customers’ success”, said Melanie Schüle, Managing Director, Bechtle Clouds GmbH.

Bechtle has added several experts certified in AWS services to its ranks and has migrated the infrastructures and applications to AWS for a number of customers, particularly SMEs, including an international player in the energy industry and an IT service provider specialising in the field of SAP consulting.

“As an AWS Select Consulting Partner, Bechtle now also supports our shared customers on their journey to the cloud. Bechtle accompanies and consults their customers on organizational development, change management and implementation”, said Klaus Bürg, General Manager Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Amazon Web Services, Inc. “Thanks to a trustful relationship built over the years and the clear focus of Bechtle on standard solutions like SAP, innovative topics like IoT and modern cloud architectures, customers will receive support exactly where needed,” Klaus added.

The agreement with AWS comes as Bechtle plans to open another specialist Competence Centre that will be available to all Bechtle Group locations.
