Avnet TS is to open a Commercial Competence Centre in the Netherlands this quarter in support of its new Avnet Security & Networking Solutions (ASNS) division in EMEA. Encouraged by forecasts of growing markets for security and networks, it will expand staff and resources. Graeme Watt, president, Avnet TS EMEA: “We will leverage existing talent within Avnet in addition to bringing in new, external specialist skills to deliver best-of-breed, value-added security and networking solutions in EMEA.”
The distributor has seen strong growth among competitors, often with specialist knowledge in these areas.
