AvePoint’s flagship UK OnPoint event will take place in London on 1 October 2025, focusing on the opportunities and challenges facing channel partners as AI adoption accelerates and Microsoft reshapes its engagement model.

The channel only event offers partners a full day of insight into AI-driven transformation, data security posture management (DSPM), and Microsoft’s ongoing shift from Enterprise Agreements to the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) programme.

The day opens with a keynote from Dux Raymond Sy, AvePoint’s Chief Brand Officer, examining how Microsoft, OpenAI, Meta and Google are shaping the AI revolution and how partners can harness new tools such as Copilot to drive innovation. Security strategist Greg van der Gaast will follow with a hacker’s perspective on embedding data security into business operations.

IT Europa will chair the opening panel session, “Turning Data Security Fears into Success,” bringing together leading channel figures to discuss how MSPs and resellers can convert customer concerns around data protection into long-term business value. The debate will explore practical steps to strengthen client security postures, balance protection with productivity, and position providers as trusted advisors in an increasingly AI-driven market.

AvePoint executives Peter Bradley and John Peluso will then outline the company’s approach to DSPM, while Sy will return later in the programme to discuss how partners can evolve from transactional sales to strategic customer engagements.

Afternoon breakout sessions will provide tailored content for technical and commercial audiences, with tracks covering managed service innovation and revenue growth strategies for MSPs, distributors and resellers. The day concludes with a rooftop networking reception and Casino Night.

Will Garside, Editor of IT Europa, said: “This event underlines the critical shifts AI is driving across the channel — not only in terms of security, but also in how suppliers, partners and customers work together. The sessions highlight why ongoing education is essential to help partners adapt, build trust, and create sustainable value in this new environment.”

The OnPoint series is designed to give channel leaders practical strategies to balance innovation and governance, strengthen security postures, and build long-term customer trust while capitalising on AI-driven opportunities. To register, visit https://www.avepoint.com/uk/onpoint/uk-onpoint-2025
