VMware Partner Exchange 2010, the company’s third annual global partner conference, kicked off this week in Las Vegas.

With more than 2,600 attendees from around the world, it showed more than 60% growth over 2009 -- as well as 55 sponsors including Arrow ECS, Cisco, EMC, HP, Ingram Micro, Intel, NetApp, Novell, Trend Micro and Wyse. 

VMware Technical Sales Professional (VTSP) certification grew 427%, with more than 19,000 individuals earning the certification in 2009. VMware Certified Professional (VCP) numbers grew 85% year over year, with nearly 12,000 certified, it says.
