Clavister, a Swedish specialist in high-performance, high-availability network security has secured SEK 60 million (€6.8m) in a private placement. The placement will help the company to develop its market presence and growing international customer base, and to capitalise on interest in Clavister solutions from integrators and strategic vendor partners.
“This private placement will help us to capitalise on interest from strategic partners in embedded IP security solutions, in turn growing market awareness of the need for next-generation security solutions and accelerating our sales. We will use the investment to support further growth for Clavister worldwide, to address new solution areas and expanded market areas for our products, and provide extra resources to our channel and strategic partners through 2014," says John Vestberg, CEO Clavister Holding AB.

Clavister recently joined the Intel Network Builders program (networkbuilders.intel.com), to further grow awareness of its solutions in business-critical datacentre, telco and cloud environments and to consolidate the company’s position as a provider of carrier-grade security and SDN solutions.
