Four MSPs combine to go global

Four European managed service providers have got together to form a new international digital transformation services firm called Avenga.

MSPs Kontrakt, Sevenval, CoreValue and Solidbrain have joined forces for the venture.

Avenga is backed with funds from Oaktree Capital Management and Cornerstone Partners and employs 2,500 staff across 18 offices mainly in Europe, with a reach into the US and Asia. Offices are located in Germany, Poland, Ukraine, the US and Kuala Lumpar, among other countries.

The company says it can provide speed of service and the flexibility of a startup by using flat management hierarchies without fixed headquarters. “We regard centralised corporate management as obsolete,” said Avenga CEO Jan Webering (pictured).

“Avenga acts as an agile ecosystem, creating a collaborative platform where companies can find the exact expertise they are in search of for their digitalisation projects.”

The companies that have come into Avenga already have clients spanning the pharmaceutical, healthcare, real estate, automotive, media and financial services industries.
