Clavister signs up Dutch security distributor

Network security vendor Clavister has signed a distribution agreement with Netherlands firm MoreTeq, that will offer Clavister's full suite of solutions to customers and partners. Offerings includes antivirus, authentication and access management solutions.

Allard van Gelderen, CEO of MoreTeq IT Security Solutions and Services, said: "We've known of Clavister's cybersecurity solutions and services for years having worked with them as professionals in the Dutch channel market.

“So when we had the chance to offer Clavister as our premium vendor we were keen to take up the opportunity. We're convinced that our channel partners will find Clavister an excellent solution for their customers and we expect a robust business to develop as a distributor having them as our flagship brand.”

Andreas Åsander, Clavister's vice president of enterprise sales, said: "The Netherlands has developed into an interesting market for Clavister and now with MoreTeq on board, with their deep knowledge of Clavister and what we offer, we expect that market to grow.

“We are especially looking forward to expand our business with managed security service providers, a customer group that the team at MoreTeq has strong experience with."

Sweden-headquartered Clavister appointed ALLNET as its second distribution partner for the DACH region at the end of 2015. That same year, Clavister signed a three-year license and support agreement with Regus, the global workspace provider, to secure internet connectivity for its clients.

Clavister will be part of partner Konica Minolta's Year of IT Security launching this month, with its technology being part of the cloud security offering that Konica Minolta will be introducing to customers via its Remote Care platform.
