Network infrastructure specialist Extreme Networks has appointed a managed services specialist Networks First as its first partner in the UK.
Network First has been chosen as both companies Extreme Networks and Enterasys, which was acquired by Extreme in 2013, have a long history of collaboration with Networks First spanning almost 15 years, it says.
Under the new partnership, Network First will offer more services and support for both Extreme and Enterasys technologies. Also, partners of Extreme and Enterasys get an access to products, services and support through Networks First, it says.
“The acquisition of Enterasys completed by Extreme in November 2013 unveiled a new spectrum of opportunities for our partners. Our Channel has played a critical role in this transition. Having worked with Extreme for many years, Networks First is a company we can trust to deliver a high level of service and support to our customers and partners. Networks First is now fully certified to support the combined Extreme Enterasys portfolio, having developed a great expertise of our switching, wireless and network management product lines,” says Chris Elliot, Channel Director UK&I, Extreme.
Networks First delivers a range of services for Voice, LAN, WAN, Data Centre and Security through its partner base.
