Distributor Infinigate has opened an office in France. This step brings the number of active countries for the company to eight. Infinigate recently announced an increase in turnover by 29% recording in excess of €200m for the last fiscal year ending March 2014.
After acquisitions in Scandinavia and the UK, Infinigate's new office in Paris is in addition to the other independent subsidiaries in Germany, England, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway and Denmark,
For the new office it says it has a team of specialists, experienced in the French IT Security distribution sector. Patric Berger will lead as the Managing Director of the new subsidiary in France. It has already signed vendors such as Checkpoint, Ipswitch and Tibco Loglogic. The portfolio will be expanded over time and will contain no more than 15 to 20 vendors, it says.
