Thomas Seyfried has been appointed as country manager for Avnet Austria, effective immediately. He joined Avnet through the integration of Magirus in 2012 and has more than 10 years’ experience in IT distribution.
In this position, Seyfried will be responsible for the continued development of the business strategy of the Avnet Technology Solutions team in Austria. He will report directly to Roman Rudolf, vice president and managing director, Avnet Technology Solutions, Central Region.
Thomas joined Avnet through the integration of Magirus in 2012 and has since been responsible as sales director for Avnet’s solutions business in Austria. He has more than 10 years’ experience in IT distribution and was country manager of Magirus Austria GmbH between 2006 and 2012.
