Ricoh is preparing to expand its managed services side across Europe. Its European Holding company has completed the purchase of ADA - Das SystemHaus GmbH (ADA) through Ricoh Deutschland GmbH, its German marketing subsidiary.
Ricoh’s IT Services currently focuses on small and medium businesses, but the plan is to grow the services in Germany in the midsize market and provide more to larger enterprises. ADA has 20 years' experience in services in Germany. The acquisition is a part of Ricoh’s strengthening of its business service infrastructure, providing businesses with tools and expertise to optimise business critical document processes and IT Services.
ADA and Ricoh have a strong strategic fit, ti says with both already working with many of the same corporations. "By joining forces, these shared clients can enjoy working with one organisation for all their IT and document management needs. Furthermore, with the additional expertise from the ADA employees, Ricoh can accelerate its IT its expertise across Europe," it says.
In addition it supports the growth of Ricoh offerings such as Managed Document Services, IT Services, Document Process Outsourcing and new business lines which will contribute 25% of Ricoh’s global revenues by March 2013.
