Microsoft looks for new head in Switzerland

 The present Head of Corporate Customer Business at Microsoft Switzerland, Hans Peter Quadri, has been appointed as of 1 July as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for large business customers of Microsoft Western Europe.

Microsoft has announced that the search for his successor has already begun. During the transition period Peter Jenner will be in charge.

Quadri, in his new role, will supervise the entire sales management and sales operations from Western Europe for the corporate customer business across the region. His responsibilities will include improving operations and increasing productivity in the individual countries. He will report directly to Seddik Sherif, General Manager, Enterprise & Partner Group, Microsoft Western Europe.

Prior to joining Microsoft Switzerland in June 2006, Quadri was responsible for seven years as CEO of Swisscom Enterprise Solutions for the development and management of network-based solutions business. Prior to this, he worked for 20 years in various international and national management positions for IBM.
