Wick Hill offers SafeNet training

Three day training courses on SaaS authentication

Distributor Wick Hill has announced it has become a certified centre for the SafeNet Authentication Services (SAS) and will launch courses at its headquarters, starting by the end of this month.

The three-day courses will cover all aspects of both cloud-based and the on-premises version of SAS products and will end with exams leading to a SafeNet ceritification. The training was initially intended for the resellers to reward their commitment and is run under the SafeNet’s partner programme, it says.

The course will be available once in a quarter and the VARs will be authorised to sell it on to their customers.

SafeNet Authentication Services is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based authentication platform that comes under four categories: as a cloud-based service for enterprises and a cloud service for service providers as well as onsite solution for enterprises and, separately, for service providers.

“Thanks to Snowden, and a range of highly visible security breaches, authentication is experiencing strong growth. This provides a major opportunity for our SafeNet resellers to get accreditation and deliver a wider range of professional services with their sales,” says Ed Kidson, product sales manager for the SafeNet at Wick Hill.
