Distributor Westcon is now part of the Juniper Authorized Education Partner Network (JNAEP) Juniper in Spain. Westcon already has similar deals in otherparts of Europe.
Westcon signed Juniper last year and has been involved in a number of inititives. The idea behind the Authorised Training Partner deal is to support partners with the manufacturer's solutions and build more opportunities.
A study by IDC says that training and certification from the manufacturer can directly lead to improved network installation, management and security compliance.
Westcon will aims to train and certify Juniper solutions to more than 100 students during 2014, with courses planned for this year in the dealer locations in Madrid and Barcelona. It also offers online training via video conferencing.
