SimpliVity, a US-based specialist in software-defined data centres, has started a new partner programme, and named Germany's Bechtle as one of its first highest tier partners. It has had a deal with Bechtle since last year.

The new partner programme, which offers three tiers of membership, aims to incentivise partners to expand sales of SimpliVity OmniCube and deliver support, training and marketing materials to drive business. SimpliVity offers its Data Virtualisation Platform delivered on “hyperconverged” infrastructure to ensure performance, capacity, mobility, manageability and protection of virtual workloads, while delivering cloud-scale economics.

SimpliVity currently has more than 200 partners, spanning the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. The PartnerAdvantage program aims to accelerate SimpliVity’s growth in markets across the globe.
“We’re 100 percent committed to our channel partners, and we want to continue to deliver those partners—and their customers—a world-class product to transform today’s data center,” said Mitch Breen, SVP of Global Sales, SimpliVity. “We believe in our mission of simplifying IT, and we want our partners to feel that brand promise by being the easiest partner they do business with.”

Bechtle and SimplVity have extended their partnership for the EMEA region and named Bechtle as one of the first partners to achieve the highest partner status of SimpliVity. Bechtle will supplement the products with hosting, managed services and building a hybrid cloud

With 28 certified SimpliVity System Engineers received Bechtle now also the highest partner status as a Platinum Partner, access to sales support, exclusive product know-how and training opportunities guaranteed, it says.
