Follows acquisition of HPE's software business this year
Tech Data' Azlan unit has been made a European distribution partner for business software company Micro Focus. Micro Focus completed its acquisition of HPE's software operations in August.
The new distribution alliance covers Azlan partners in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK.
Steve Cant, HPE business unit director for Europe at Tech Data, said: “This is an important partnership for Azlan and for our partners to address the increasing hybrid IT needs of customers. The merger of Micro Focus and HPE Software brought together a powerful combination of solutions and talent.

The Azlan brand is being transitioned into Tech Data’s Advanced Solutions portfolio in Europe by May 2018.
