Juniper Networks has a new EMEA channel head after capturing Kristian Kerr from Brocade Communications. Kerr is now Juniper's head of channel, alliances and commercial for EMEA. He is responsible for charting all aspects of channel and partner strategy, planning and operations in the region for Juniper.
“I'm joining at the right time,” said Kerr. “High-performance, secure and automated networking is at the heart of successful business transformation via the cloud. This means Juniper’s virtualised and physical security, routing and switching portfolio is in a sweet spot of opportunity.”
At Brocade Communications Kerr ran the EMEA partner organisation as a senior director. Prior to that Kerr held roles at Verizon Enterprise Solutions Group and Cisco Systems.
Last year, Juniper Networks announced several updates to its Juniper Partner Advantage programme, including new certifications, marketing tools and courses for partners. As part of this Juniper introduced a data centre specialisation, aimed at helping partners grow their businesses with Juniper Networks’ private, public and hybrid cloud offerings. There was also a new solutions specialist design track, with a focus on network architecture and design.
