Netskope to double EMEA sales team, names VP

Growth in key vertical markets

Cloud security specialist Netskope has named André Stewart as VP EMEA, alongside plans to double the size of its field sales team. He was previously with OpenDNS, A10 Networks, and Fortinet where he led EMEA and international businesses and has also served as managing partner at Agora M&A, where he specialised in cross-border mergers and acquisitions in the data-communications reseller channel space.

The appointment and the intention to double the headcount in its EMEA field sales team will help Netskope to meet the increasing demand for cloud access security broker (CASB) technology, it says.  Netskope experienced significant growth across many verticals in 2016, including the world’s largest corporations in the retail, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, energy and technology industries.

In addition to Stewart, the company also announced these other senior appointments:

•             Bruno Dambrun has been appointed sales director, Southern Europe. Prior to Netskope, Dambrun held senior leadership positions at Blue Coat, Wind River, ContentMind, and SAS.

•             Kristina Vervoort has been appointed sales director, DACH. Prior to Netskope, Vervoort led sales for all security products at Cisco in the DACH region.

•             Paul Hennin has been appointed senior director, EMEA marketing, channels, and alliances. Prior to joining Netskope, Hennin held senior marketing roles at Aerohive Networks, Proofpoint, and Fortinet.

Stewart commented: “With the EU GDPR compliance deadline just over one year away we are uniquely well positioned to help organisations throughout EMEA achieve compliance by securing their employees’ use of cloud services to prevent data breaches.”
