Italian distributor Esprinet SpA has completed the sale of 100% of the share capital of Comprel Srl, a specialist distribution business in Italy working with electronic components and subsystems
Italian distributor Esprinet SpA has completed the sale of 100% of the share capital of Comprel Srl, a specialist distribution business in Italy working with electronic components and subsystems, for a total amount €5.9m in cash. In the course of 2013Comprel achieved a turnover of €34.6m, with a net profit of €243,000.
The buyer is Melchioni SpA, an Italian distributor of electronic components active in the supply of spare parts for the automotive sector, B2B professional electronics, consumer electronics and in renewable energy (mainly photovoltaic and LED lighting).
This is part of a process of rationalisation as the company looks to concentrate on its main business.
