Axxon launches UK channel programme
Russian specialist in open network video management software, leader in the EMEA market with 18.7% market share, Axxon, is launching its new UK channel programme "Axxon & Friends" in the UK, after successful trials in both Germany and Spain.
Axxon&Friends seeks to recruit different partners, from traditional security installers to network or systems integrators, consultants and vendors, in the aim to rapidly grow its market share in the UK. "Axxon&Friends is much about networking in order to do business, compared to a formal certification programme," Global Business Development Director, Evgenia Ostrovskaya told IT Europa.
"At Axxon we recognise that doing business in the UK means building an eco-system of strong relationships and integration partnerships. We have ensured that the widest number of camera, access control, analytics, retail POS (Point of Sale) and building management systems vendors integrate with our solutions. Most of the big name vendors are already supported on our systems," commented Luis Coello, EMEA Business Development Manager.
Axxon started in the European market in May this year. "First of all, we customised our product for the European market a little, because the problem with the Russian market is that installers really like to play with products and don't want everything to be fixed up from the beginning, so we needed to take care of the front-end and to upgrade our products to the European needs," explained Ostrovskaya.
After having made the products available in five additional languages - English, German, Spanish, Greek and Romanian, Axxon also updated the whole marketing structure for the European market, "because in Russia, we've already been the leaders for five years so we don't need as much marketing," she continued.
Next is the partnership programme, to give the proper support and training. "We already had two trainings in Spain and another one in Poland, and I think pretty soon we're going to have another one in the UK. Basically what we're doing is just moving the same strategy in every office we have," she concluded. Headquartered in Moscow, Axxon has 13 more offices in Russia, as well as one in Germnay (Frankfurt), in Spain (Barcelona), soon in the UK (London) and also in Bulgaria (Sofia).
